What Is It?

Historically, broadband (such as FTTC/Fibre-to-the-Cabinet) required a traditional analogue phone line to deliver internet. SoGEA changes this by providing a digital-only broadband connection over existing copper infrastructure without forcing you to pay for landline rental.

How It Works

  • Infrastructure: Fibre optic cables run from the central exchange to your street cabinet, and existing copper wire runs from the cabinet to your premises.
  • No Landline: It removes the analogue voice layer entirely. If you need phone capabilities, you use VoIP (Voice over IP) over the data connection.
